DG Regional and Urban Policy is actively working on fostering youth involvement in cohesion policy, particularly in cross-border cooperation across borders.
One of the activities contributing to this goal is the running of the Youth4Cooperation Group, established in 2022 during the European Year of Youth. Its main goal is to enhance the engagement of young individuals in all Interreg programmes and EU macro-regional strategies, allowing them to have a say and be active in cooperation and Interreg. This group serves as a platform for dialogue between the Commission and young individuals active in the field of Interreg. Group members are young Europeans interested in cohesion and cooperation. They gather online once per month for a plenary meeting.
We invite young people to join the Youth4Cooperation LinkedIn group, where they can stay updated on relevant news, share experiences, and connect with other young professionals interested in Interreg and cohesion policy.
