Public voting for the 2025 REGIOSTARS Awards is now officially open, and you can vote for Re-Water project until October 15.

Re-Water, under the “2: A GREEN EUROPE” category, is among the 25 outstanding finalists of the “REGIOSTARS Awards”, the European Commission’s annual competition that recognizes the best EU-funded projects in terms of impact and inclusiveness of regional development.

The Re-Water project, implemented in the context of the Interreg Greece-Italy Prgramme, managed by the Managing Authority Interreg 2021-2027 and supported by the Programme JS, has led to the development of a new technology, able to remove all traces of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and hormones from wastewater that typically escape treatment, with the aim to reuse  water to wash streets and irrigate urban gardens.
