Interreg Greece-Cyprus: “Paths that Last” Event

“Interreg VI-A Greece-Cyprus” is one of the eight programs partipating in the “Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism” together with Interreg Euro-MED, Italy-Croatia, Italy-Slovenia, Italy-France Maritime, Italy-Malta, Italy-Tunisia and NEXT MED.  Within the “Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism” (MMM) a key event will be organized entitled “Paths That Last – Collaborating for a sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean“, on 25 and 26 June 2025 (at 09-15.30 CEST), in Split – Croatia.

In the framework of the event, which consists of roundtable discussions, keynote speeches and five (5) workshops, participants (i.e., project partners / beneficiaries from the eight (8) programmes) will have the opportunity to empower synergies, share best practices and results in relation to sustainable tourism and develop common strategies to contribute to the future of tourism, focusing also on capitalising on successful Interreg projects in relation to sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean, building a sustainable future of Cooperation.

It is worth mentioning that the “Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism” brings together Interreg programmes to strengthen their cooperation and make more effective use of available resources in the Mediterranean. More specifically, the eight participating programmes have the opportunity to improve coordination in monitoring and evaluating the impact of successful practices as well as strengthen policy recommendations, with the aim to maximise the long-term impact and sustainability of investments.
