The cross-border cooperation Programme “Interreg Greece-Cyprus” has been selected to be published by the European Commission (Smart Regions) as, through the results of its project “Digital Herodotus II”, implemented in the Programming Period 2014-2020, more than 10,000 archives of unique historical value, in Cyprus and the North Aegean Region, have been preserved and transformed in digital repositories in an open access database.
