In the framework of the Interreg Europe programme, Greece participates in 138 Good Practices (projects). More specifically, Greece is participating with 131 good practices in the programming period 2014-2021 and with 7 good practices in the in the programming period 2021-2027. The thematic topics of the good practices are linked to a “smart Europe” (48 projects), “green Europe” (72 projects), “social Europe” (18 projects).

In the framework of the “success stories” of Interreg Europe projects, Municipality of Pangaio (Greece) has been selected, which implemented the project with the acronym “KEEP ON”, in the field of cultural tourism (i.e., “Greece: New cultural package for tourists”). More specifically, the project’s goal was to improve public policies in the cultural heritage sector in terms of delivering high quality projects with sustainable results, reasonable public funding and a long-lasting impact on regional development.
