On 19 November 2025, the Interreg Euro-MED Programme will host the “Bridging the Seas” event in Varna, Bulgaria, bringing together stakeholders from across the Mediterranean to exchange ideas on cooperation, synergies, strategic planning and the future of cohesion policy beyond 2027.
Greece, through the Managing Authority Interreg 2021-2027, proudly acting as the country’s National Authority in the Programme – N.C.P. Interreg Euro-MED Greece -, contributes to a shared vision for a smarter, greener, and more resilient Mediterranean region.
With partners from 14 countries, the transnational Programme, supporting EU priorities, continues to drive cooperation, innovation, and sustainable growth across the region. It also works hand in hand with other Interreg programmes, linking territories covered by key macro-regional (EUSAIR, EUSALP and EUSDR) and sea basin (West-MED) strategies, as well as areas participating in the Black Sea Common Agenda.
Together, we are shaping the Mediterranean of tomorrow, one built on cooperation, creativity, and climate responsibility.
Participation in the event is by invitation.
