The 7th Call for Proposals under the Transnational Programme Interreg Euro-MED 2021–2027, with a total budget of €8 million, has been published by the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat of the Programme and is available in English here.

This call is dedicated to the transfer and upscaling of solutions concerning Sustainable Tourism, already developed within projects funded under one of the 10 programmes participating in the Mediterranean Multiprogramme Mechanism initiative, as set out in the common catalogue of outputs, available here.

Project proposals shall relate and contribute to the following Specific Objectives under the Sustainable Tourism Mission:

Sustainable Tourism:

1.1 Strengthening research and innovation capacities and the uptake of advanced technologies

2.4 Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention

2.6 Supporting the circular economy

2.7 Enhancing nature protection and biodiversity

Potential Lead Partners should pay particular attention to the following points:

  • Identify at least 1 output originating from an MMM Programme other than the Interreg Euro-MED Programme to which the application is submitted (and participating in this coordinated call)
  • Define activities to reuse, adapt, replicate and scale-up the identified output(s)
  • Indicate the original project and Programme
  • Explain the relevance of the selected output(s) for the new context
  • Describe how the output(s) will be transferred, adapted and/or scaled up.

To support the preparation of project proposals under the 7th Call for Proposals, potential applicants are invited to watch the recording of the Joint Secretariat’s online presentation on the call’s Terms of Reference, which also includes answers to key questions raised during the session.

In September, the Joint Secretariat will organise an additional online information session on the topics covered by the call.

Application forms shall be submitted via the JEMS platform from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2026.
