The European Commission, DG REGIO commissioned the development of a “Handbook on Cross-Border Energy Communities”.

The study will develop a comprehensive inventory of existing cross-border energy communities (CBEC) and quasi cross-border energy communities (Q-CBEC).

You are kindly invited to support the study by filling out a survey by 30 April 2024, which is available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish via the link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/CBEC_survey. You may answer open questions in any EU language. Completing the survey will take about 15 minutes. Your contribution is very important for collecting information about existing cross-border energy communities and those under development as well as on obstacles and possible solutions.

Please note that information collected through the survey will be treated anonymously and individual answers provided will not be shared with the European Commission. Personal data will not be stored or communicated to third parties. Any information collected will be used only for the purposes of the above-mentioned study and will be deleted upon closure of the project.
