The IVY offers the possibility to young Europeans aged 18-30 to serve as volunteers in cross-border, transnational or interregional programmes and related projects. The initiative is aimed at involving young European volunteers to support, promote and report the concrete achievements of these programmes and projects, as well as generally promote cooperation across borders and related values such as solidarity. The IVY will give volunteers the opportunity to familiarise with the Interreg programmes and projects, make them aware of the many benefits of collaboration among EU internal borders as well as enhance their sense of European solidarity, citizenship and civic engagement.
Each project partner in Interreg programmes can host an “Interreg Project Partner” who will contribute to Interreg project implementation with a selected task to be done over a defined period of time. The task shall focus on specific aspects or difficulties to be solved.

The Managing Authority of the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes establishes a “Register of First Level Controllers” for verifying the expenditure incurred by Greek Beneficiaries’ in all projects, in accordance with article 125 of the Regulation 1303/2013 and article 23 of the Regulation 1299/2013.
The verification of expenditure applies to all projects which will be co-funded by the Co-operation Programmes "Greece-Albania 2014-2020", "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020", "Greece-Italy 2014-2020", "Greece-Cyprus 2014-2020", "Greece-The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2014-2020" and the Transnational Cooperation Programme "Balkan – Mediterranean 2014-2020" (Balkan-Med).
The next deadline for submission of applications for entry to the Register of FL Controllers is the 30/09/2017. The submission process is described in detail in the Ministerial Decree No. 301005/YD3953/22.9.2016. The relevant documents are the following:

This year's RegioStars award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 10, during the 2017 European Week of Regions and Cities.
Finalist projects will be acknowledged throughout the selection process and during the ceremony. Winners in each category will receive a RegioStars trophy, a short video about their project and a social media promotional package.

The Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes establishes a Registry for the Verification of Expenditure of Greek beneficiaries according to article 125, of Reg. 1303/2013 and article 23, of Reg. 1299/2013.

The Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes, as the Managing Authority of the "Greece-Bulgaria", "Greece-Italy", "Greece-Cyprus", "Greece-The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” and "Balkan-Mediterranean" Interreg Programmes is actively supporting blood donation events in all Programmes' areaa. The main rational behind this choice is that blood donation is, among other things, an act of cooperation that brings peoples and societies together. It is truly an act of cooperation for life!
The Programme is organising and coordinating a series of events, raising awareness about blood donation, while at the same time promoting Interreg and territorial cooperation.
Blood will be collected and donated to local hospital in the cross-border area in cooperation with voluntary organisations.

Sometimes life comes to solidarity
In the Syrian conflict’s fifth year, millions of refugees are caught in alarmingly deteriorating conditions, facing an even bleaker future, as a result of what is described as the largest humanitarian crisis since the 1994 Rwanda genocide. In recent months, nearly half a million people have attempted the dangerous journey to Europe, mainly via Greece and Italy, to escape from brutal wars and sectarian conflicts in places like Syria, Afghanistan and regions in Africa.
As Europe struggles to cope with the greatest number of displaced people since the 2nd World War, the Greek Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes and the Programme sit is managing –as part of the EC Day 2015 campaign- are collecting and donating drugs and medical supplies to support those refugees mostly in need of them.
Our act not only promotes the Programmes' social sensitivity, but also demonstrates the role Territorial Cooperation can play –as far as possible- in dealing with social challenges.
We want to hear (and see!) how EU investments are being used where you are and celebrate projects that are making a real difference to local communities.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is take a photo of a project receiving EU funding you know or have seen, with the plaque or billboard with funding information and the EU flag somewhere in the picture.

After last year’s success of the video contest, we decided that everyone’s creative input could be of great use to find a catchy slogan to complement the Interreg logo. The contest is open to everyone interested in participating. Not just Interreg programmes or projects, but all citizens of all ages from EU countries, candidate and potential candidate countries and neighbouring countries are invited to submit their original, catchy slogan. In continuation of the branding process, INTERACT is now looking for an Interreg slogan to complement the logo which represents what Interreg is all about.
The winner of the slogan contest will be invited to the event '25 years of Interreg' which will take place on 15-16 September 2015 in Luxembourg to witness the live revelation of his or her slogan, interpreted and showcased by an artist. It could be yours! Everyone is invited to check out the EC Day website and to submit their slogan between 1 and 31 May. After a jury selection, public voting through Facebook between 1 to 31 July will decide who the winner is.

We are inviting innovative and efficient performers from the public sector across Europe to present their work and to become part of an extensive European network of public sector excellence.
Under the overarching theme “The Public Sector as Partner for a Better Society”, EPSA 2015 will showcase and reward cases from the European public sector that embrace public administrations as partners in co-design and co-management of public service delivery, innovative knowledge management and leadership approaches, as well as optimisation of management of public funds.
EPSA 2015 is open to European public sector institutions from all administrative levels, as well as public sector enterprises, agencies and public-private partnerships. The lead applicant must be a public sector institution or authority - other applicants (in a consortium), can for example be private companies, semi-public institutions, NGOs, universities or training institutions.

The European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards was launched in 2002 by the European Commission and has been organised by Europa Nostra since then. The Prize promotes excellence, inspires through the “power of example” and stimulates the exchange of best practices in the heritage field across Europe. It also aims to communicate to the general public the beauty and the economic and social value of our cultural heritage.

The Regio Stars Awards are designed to demonstrate the results of EU funding, by putting the spotlight on the most inspiring and innovative European projects co-funded by the Cohesion Policy. The Awards are a great communication opportunity for the participating Projects to get public recognition and media attention.

A trophy and a "RegioStars Winner certificate" will be presented to the winning projects by EU Commissioner for Regional Policy, Corina Creţu. A short video will be produced by the Communication unit on each winning project, to be used for promotional purposes.
